EMBL-EBI have launched a survey to evaluate the impact of their open data resources. Please take the time to complete the survey as ELIXIR will also benefit from your feedback. The deadline is Wednesday, March 31.
The HealthyCloud project (health research and innovation cloud) was launched on March 9. The project budget is €3million and the duration is 30 months (2.5 years). The goal is to build a system for the research use of health data, with a focus on Cancer and Atrial Fibrillations as case studies.

ELIXIR Slovenia invites all stakeholders in the fight against COVID-19 to sign the open letter to ensure open data sharing. The letter stipulates that crucial research and healthcare data are accessible and reusable. The data should not be unnecessarily siloed, fragmented and closed.
BioHackathon Europe is a yearly ELIXIR event for developers and bioinformaticians in the field of life sciences. It is attended by researchers from Europe, United States and Japan. ELIXIR membership is not required for participation. BioHackathon Europe 2021 will take place on November 8-12 in the face-to-face format in Barcelona (if the state of the Covid pandemic allows this), with an option to attend remotely.
